The Pioneer wheel is a yellow 83mm wheel for modern 1:8 buggies, sold as a set of 4. It made its debut at the Florida Carpet Championships. The design takes inspiration from a 1989 Masami Hirosaka replica. Its pop-out panels add a new look, while the home position keeps the proper offset and mounting. Outer ribs sit between the panels, and a radial ring surrounds the wheel nut area. Six optional screw locations represent the adaptors used in the golden age of RC. JConcepts also makes titanium screws for these wheels, sold separately in burnt blue (#5037-1) and stealth black (#5037-2).
