JConcepts 1.9 Tire, Megalithic, Green Compound, 4.19 OD, Fits 1.9 Scale Wheels

About this part

JConcepts introduces the Megalithic, a 1.9-size Class 1 crawling tire in green compound with a 4.19-inch outside diameter. JConcepts describes it as its most detailed tire to date. It was developed for the company's 20th anniversary as an intricate crawling design. The tread uses a layout of lugs, terraces, and recesses that adapt to a wide range of terrain. The large bat lug at the center can pull in either direction and can be run with the lugs pointing forward or stepping forward. Next to it, club lugs with recessed areas shape the outside of the tread. The sharks mouth ties the center structure together, and the pyramid drops into the center to add contact surface at different angles. The sidewalls have heavy traction bars, cutouts that add pitch and flex grip, and pencil push plots with carved and shaved sections on each rotation. A liquid rope detail marks where the tread ends and the lettering begins. The recessed, retro JConcepts logo appears in several places on the tire.
