An aluminum differential carrier housing from Hot Racing for the front or rear differential on the Traxxas Unlimited Desert Racer. It is CNC-machined, anodized black, and has laser-etched lettering. This part fits the front differential.

Requirements

• Spider gear shaft and spacers (TRA8584), spider gear (TRA8582), and stock gaskets (TRA8581)
• Removable threadlocker (blue threadlocking compound) on the ring gear screws
• Silicone diff lube
• Tighten the ring gear screws in a star pattern
• Light grease on the ring and pinion gears, per TRA recommendations

Notes

• Replaces the TRA plastic carrier housing from TRA 8581. The seals are reused.
