A front skid plate for the Traxxas Unlimited Desert Racer. It is a three-piece design, so reaching the A-arms for service means removing far fewer screws. The lower sections can be reached without removing the body. The bumper section has a new upper compression zone that flexes moderately in frontal impacts. This absorbs significantly more impact energy than stock, which reduces the chance of internal damage in head-on crashes. The plate is stronger than stock and has a limited lifetime warranty against breakage. Its larger front radius makes it easier to slide up and over tall obstacles. The stock plate has a steep front angle and very little roll-over.
