• ABOUT HARD ANODIZING:
• Hard anodizing is an electrochemical process that hardens aluminum. The part is submerged in an acid bath and then given an electrical charge, so the surface combines with oxygen to form aluminum oxide. This is oxidation, the same process that happens naturally, but controlled and accelerated. Hard-anodized aluminum is 30% harder than stainless steel.
