JConcepts Silent Speed 13t Brushed Adjustable Timing Competition Motor

About this part

The Silent Speed brushed motor from JConcepts has dual ball bearings and adjustable timing. It suits monster truck racers who run sport-mod, and scale trail truck drivers who want power that is easy to drive and easy to rebuild. Brushed motors deliver strong performance on a budget. This one can be torn down, cleaned and re-brushed at any time to keep performance consistent. It is a common choice for 1/10 monster and scale truck racers on the circuit, and it works well as a control or hand-out motor for events that want to level the field. Listed as a universal fit.

Note

• The ideal running temperature is 115 to 120 degrees. Watch the operating temperature and adjust gearing to stay within that range. Over-gearing, extended full-throttle runs and extended full braking heat the motor quickly. Anything above 150 degrees risks permanent damage to the motor and internal components. Monitor its appearance as well.
