About this part
A 35-turn brushed competition motor from JConcepts with adjustable timing. The Silent Speed is built for monster truck sport-mod racers and scale trail drivers who want drivable, rebuildable power. Its dual ball bearings allow it to be torn down, cleaned and re-brushed whenever needed. It also serves as a control or hand-out motor for events.
Note
- The ideal running temperature is 115 to 120 degrees. Watch operating temperature and adjust gearing to stay in range, since over-gearing and extended full-throttle or full-braking runs heat the motor quickly. Temperatures over 150 degrees risk permanent damage to the motor and internal parts.
