The Smoothie 3 was built for 1:10 dirt oval and off-road use. This third generation brings new design elements and a low-slung carcass. In some off-road conditions, a slick is the quickest way around the track. The carcass is lightweight and uses scalloped beads for weight savings. Sidewall lettering is recessed for a clean contact patch for gluing. The front carcass has inner X-pattern ribbing with buried radial ribs for support. Sidewall ribs rise from the bead area at equal spacing to strengthen critical zones. This 2.2 inch bead mounting diameter tire mounts straight to the latest generation wheels for responsive feel. The thickened carcass rolls through turns efficiently, and the large smooth surface grips specialty surfaces well. Dirt-Tech inserts are included. Sold as a pair in G1 hard compound.
