Scale chevron lugs are built with back-cut tread and shaved carcass areas that imitate the full-size tire. The tread stays tall at rotation for a firm forward grip edge in many conditions. The back-cut section gives a small transition in high-speed cornering and adapts to changing terrain and obstacles. The sidewalls carry wording, designs and descriptions in the style of 1:1 tires from that era. The low-profile Renegades stay flat through racecourse competition, speed runs and general use.
