The Hold is a 2.2-inch crawling tire in green compound, with a 5.25-inch outside diameter. JConcepts designed it from the ground up as a carved and chiseled tread for varied scale off-road terrain. Large horizontal traction bars give grip on dirt, asphalt, grass, mud, rock, and clay. At the tip of the tread, the pattern steps down to another flat gripping bar. Between bars, an angled segment adds stability and an edge for lifting and cutting through different ground. The 5.25-inch size is a standard in the successful JConcepts tire line. It gives good detail and girth for 1/10th scale Class 3 crawlers. The sidewall lugs use peaks at the outer edge of the design, with an alternating pattern of finely detailed tread that steps in and out. Inscribed drops are arranged in an array to add flexibility where it is needed.
