JConcepts 2.2 Crawler Tire, Tusk, Green Compound, 5.25 OD, Fits 2.2 Crawler Wheels

About this part

The Tusk 2.2 is a JConcepts crawling tire in green compound, with a 5.25-inch outside diameter for 2.2 crawler wheels. It has an aggressive, animal-like look. The center starts with a V-shaped lug that steps out to the sides for extra grip, and the green compound flexes to the landscape. Large, staggered traction bars extend the V pattern. The shorter bars step in with the center lug, and the longer bars fill the gap below and meet near the centerline. The mirrored layout and alternating rows create a staggered height effect. Sidewall lugs add pinch grip and gap crawling, and the flexibility of the tire is improved. Each traction bar and lug has relieved cuts and slots on top, which add small edges for light dirt, dust, and debris. The sidewall lettering shows the name, size, and identification in detail. The green compound's flexibility and the lug arrangement give a grippy feel while keeping a scale look.
