JConcepts 1/8th Buggy Tire, Dirt Bite, Blue Compound, Fits 83mm 1/8th Buggy Wheel

About this part

The Dirt Bite is a JConcepts 1/8th buggy tire for 83mm wheels, in blue compound. Its pins are set on a radius, which changes how the tread meets the racing surface. The tapered square pins feel crisp and adapt to surfaces from wet and loamy to blue and black groove. The pins are similar to the Reflex and Triple Dees, but a sturdier base and a radius in the carcass make this a new kind of tire. The tire rides on the continuous radius carcass from JConcepts, which has inner radial ribbing. The design improves drive through hard corners, and the bead seats on standard 83mm wheels such as JConcepts #3357 in bright white or fluorescent yellow. Track results: Dakotah Phend took the top qualifying spot at the ROAR 1/8th Fuel Nationals on the Dirt Bite in Aqua A2 compound, which shows how versatile the design is. Drivers use the tire's directional nature to find a feel that suits them, and it works across a variety of track conditions.
