Over the past ten years the design team and racers have kept pushing the Punisher line forward, and the P2 grew out of that work. It was first tested ahead of the 2017 IFMAR World Championships on the track in Xiamen, China. It is now offered for the TLR 22X 2WD buggy, the newest vehicle in the TLR line. As track surfaces changed around the world, the P2 built a following. Drivers Spencer Rivkin, the 2019 IFMAR World Champion, and Dakotah Phend, a three-time ROAR 2WD National Champion, helped make it a go-to body for dirt tracks from low to high traction. It gives grip when it is needed, holds its shape when that matters, and works as a tuning aid. Front and rear wings are sold separately by JConcepts.
