A P2 buggy body from JConcepts for the Tekno 1:8 NB48 2.2 nitro buggy. The P2 was first designed for 1/10 vehicles. At a recent high-profile event at LCRC Raceway, the team tested this 1/8 prototype with Ryan Maifield driving. The body uses styling cues from the World Championship winning shell used by Spencer Rivkin in 2019. JConcepts has experimented with a tall stabilizing fin since 2010. This version has a small mini fin behind the cab that clears the engine head. The ramped rear, a P2 feature, rises behind the cab and engine head to add stability. The wide cab comes from the Punisher series, and the reinforced top helps the fin keep the body steady through corners. The sidepods have built-in clearance, heavy chamfering at two angles, and multi-angle S15 winglets. The windshield is large format and completely recessed.
