The Protector is a retro-styled buggy body from JConcepts for the Associated RC-10 B7 and B7.1, with a wing included. It was designed in CAD but draws on the RC10 and RC10B4 kit bodies of the 1980s and 1990s. The rear-biased cab, smooth hood, and progressive side pods give it a classic profile. The side pods are simple, and most of the performance work sits in the styling around the chassis and inner components. Multiple side windows are a key feature. The front nose is feathered and chamfered so it fits between the top deck and under the shock tower. The roofline is center channeled, with a slight lip up front for windshield visibility and clearance. The side windows are sized to give coverage with a low profile.
