A JConcepts reissue of the Mirage World Special Edition (WSE) body, sized for the Associated RC-10 original aluminum chassis. It is supplied clear, with a scoop on the speed control side. During the 1993 IFMAR World Championships, Brian Kinwald won with a slightly modified version of the Mirage SS body. IFMAR rules did not allow cutting or venting a body without a proper shape, a scribed area or a scoop inlet. For that event only, a special shell with a scoop on the speed control side let team racers add vent holes or cut-outs. JConcepts has brought back this world special edition for builders who want that signature build. The shell arrives with no scribed cut lines or body mount holes, so the builder can trim it to the intended look. In that era you could mount the body high with small window outlines, or drop it to race height with larger windows for a slammed look.
