JConcepts has brought back one of its classics, the Stage Killah, now in 1/24th scale. The sharply tuned shell wraps around small-scale competition crawlers such as the Axial XC-1 like a glove. The low-slung shell has gentle shaping, with front and rear tucked fenders and a cab and bed area for truck-minded builders. Large recessed windows run across the front and sides, with a small extra cab viewing area. A flange lines the outer shape to protect the flat panels. The bed has smoothly rolled corners, a small recess for the included fan decals and a raised JC logo at center. The front hood scoop sits a small step offset from the pitched nose to define the design. The narrow footprint suits crawling. The polycarbonate can be tuned, trimmed and bent to improve clearance and other characteristics. The grille has three recessed sections that mimic light positions.
