About this part
The Tucked 1979 Ford F-150 is a version of the classic 1970s Ford body, added to the JConcepts line for crawler builds. The body is sized for a 12.3-inch wheelbase and fits the TRX-4 Sport, Enduro, Axial and Vanquish. The project was based on the 1:1 vehicle, with the finer details of 1979 reproduced. The heavily chiseled, square body has enlarged flat-top wheel wells. A recessed body line runs the length of the standard cab, and the decal sheet details it to look like the chrome trim of that era. The wrap-around front windshield and recessed side windows are outlined to show off the vintage look. For crawler builders, the Groveland, Florida team adapted the tucked style to the front and rear. The recessed bed area leaves room for mounts, storage or scale accessories.
