The JConcepts team follows its successful touring car bodies with the A2R. This ROAR-approved body is ready for production. Its front end differs from earlier bodies to help race starts. The shrunken nose is laid back and shorter, which places force over the front tires. Rails along the A-pillars extend over the hood to deflect air over the nose and strengthen the front wheel well area. The windshield tucks back inside the rails and connects to the aggressive roofline, which gives the A2R its shape. An edge behind the front wheel well and ahead of the rear one strengthens the openings and improves race posture. A hard edge along the rocker panel adds front-to-rear rigidity. The trunk area has plenty of deck overhang, which controls downforce and provides the mounting point for the rear wing. A small built-in kick-up at the tail helps stabilize the car at high speed.
