A 50-tooth, 1.0 mod hardened steel spur gear from Hot Racing, sized for the Traxxas E-Revo 2 in 6S and 8S form, the Maxx 4S, the XO-1 XRT and the Sand Car. It is also listed for the Maxx, Maxx Slash, X-Maxx and X-Maxx 8S. Highlights: CNC machined hardened steel with a black oxide finish Tooth count laser etched on the gear Included: One 50-tooth, 1 mod steel spur gear Setup: Do not use the pin system to set gear mesh. Set it by hand instead, following the Adjusting Gear Mesh section on page 22 of the Traxxas manual. With the pins out, loosen the four 4x16mm button-head cap screws on the bottom. Run a narrow strip of notebook paper into the mesh, slide the motor and pinion into the spur gear, then tighten the four screws and pull the paper out. A fresh strip should pass through the gears without binding.
