Carbon fiber front shock towers for the NB48 2.0 buggy. They look good and can help bump handling and grip, since carbon is slightly more compliant than aluminum. Running both front and rear carbon towers reduces the vehicle weight by 50 grams. That lowers the center of gravity slightly and can help corner speed. The towers are 5mm thick and handle all but the most severe racing impacts. This tower directly replaces the stock aluminum TKR9268, and no additional parts are needed. Tip: run a bead of super glue or tire glue around the edges to help seal and bond the layers and extend the life of the tower. Note: if you are new to racing, keep in mind that carbon is not as strong as stock aluminum.
