A -2mm front and rear gearbox for the 2.x series of 1/8 scale EB, NB, ET and NT vehicles. Lowering the diff height improves bump handling and gives a smoother, more consistent feel, especially mid-corner. It drops directly into the EB, ET and NT48 2.x vehicles with no modifications. NB48 2.x buggies need a light grind of roughly 0.5mm from the chassis below the ring gear to clear it. Requires the TKR9017B bulkhead cover and two TKRBB05145 (5x14x5) ball bearings. For the NB and EB48 buggies, Tekno suggests the TKR9054B +/-2mm rear hubs and bearing spacers (adjustable roll center, L/R). Used together with this gearbox, they improve rear grip, stability and predictability. Other recommended parts are the TKR9017B sway bar and bulkhead accessories (for -2mm bulkheads) and the TKR9284B revised rear suspension arms (EB/NB48 2.1).
