This is the 12-tooth long shank pinion gear from Tekno. It is hardened steel, Mod 1, with a 5mm bore. It is designed for Tekno's V3 brushless conversion kits used with the Losi 8, 8T and Associated RC8. Two M4 setscrew holes on the long shank secure the pinion to the motor shaft. It also allows ESC or motor brakes to be used on a Tekno converted vehicle.
