Tamiya Universal Gearbox

About this part

A Universal Gearbox assembly kit from Tamiya, intended for experienced model builders. It includes a 24T gear, a 26T gear and an 8T pinion gear, along with small Phillips screws, washers, spacers and rivets. The output shaft, drive case, hexagonal shaft and worm wheel are also included. You can select one of three speeds to suit the job: low, medium or high. A small motor is included, and the direction of the output shaft can be changed. The unit runs on a 3V battery, which is not included. Pictorial instructions and box text are in Japanese and English.
