A miniature gearbox and motor kit from Tamiya with a see-through case. The Educational Construction Series lets you test design ideas by fitting mechanical parts together in different ways, and this gearbox is a good example of what that looks like. The case is made from a tough clear ABS resin, so the internal mechanism stays in view. Each of the two motors drives its own side and can be controlled independently, and the left and right gear ratios can be set separately. Gear ratios: 12.7:1, 38.2:1, 114.7:1 and 344.2:1 Left and right 3mm hex output shafts Type 130 motors included When paired with a remote controller, it suits simple R/C projects such as wheeled robots and bulldozers.
