Tamiya 1:10 R/C BBX, 2WD Off-Road Buggy (BB-01)

This kit is sold unassembled and requires assembly and additional items to complete. The photos show a completed model for illustration. Tamiya's designers took inspiration from the company's back catalog of 2WD off-road buggies. The BBX mixes classic styling with modern performance. Its chassis, reminiscent of 1980s sand rail dune buggies, is a hybrid of monocoque and roll cage. The rear trailing arm suspension is inspired by full-size UTVs. The body was designed by Japanese artist Atsushi Arino and uses a classic 1980s livery with retro wheels and tires. A driver figure, light cases and a fifth spare tire mount adapter are included. A spare tire is sold separately. The three-section 0.7mm thick polycarbonate body recreates the tapered lower shape of the dune buggy.
