The Fighter Buggy series was developed by Tamiya for beginner buggy races in Germany. Those races began in 1996 and were organized by Tamiya's leading European importer. Ten years have passed since the last new product in the series, and Fighter NXGEN is the new entry. It is inspired by the single-seater racing buggies popular in the United States. The new DT-04 is a 2WD rear-wheel drive buggy chassis that is easy to assemble and lively to drive, as this series has always been. The name NXGEN comes from 'Next Generation'. Compared with earlier models, it gives better off-road performance and more setup options. The front and rear suspension arms, gears and gearbox are shared with the DT-02 and DT-03, and many DT-02 and DT-03 option parts also fit. The body is injection-molded white polycarbonate. Fits the Tamiya DT-04.
