A limited edition R/C assembly kit of the 1978 Ford Zakspeed Capri Turbo, built on the TT-02 chassis. The Capri Turbo was developed in 1978 for the German Racing Championship (DRM) by the West German team Zakspeed. Wind tunnel testing shaped its very low-profile wide body, and it weighed 790kg. It ran a 1,427cc inline-4 DOHC turbo engine producing 375hp. The car won for the first time at the 11th DRM race at the Nurburgring in October 1978. The following year it finished second at the first DRM race and won the second. The TT-02 is a shaft-driven 4WD chassis with a longitudinal layout, battery on the left and motor on the right, for stable handling. It has identical left and right suspension arms and uprights for easy assembly, plus easy-to-maintain gearboxes. It offers 2 wheelbase settings, 2 ground clearance settings and 2 tread setups. Universal fit for general hobby car parts.
