This R/C kit recreates the Audi R8 LMS 2008 with a detailed polycarbonate body. It is built on the TT-02 chassis, which is beginner friendly and easy to customize as your skills grow. The Audi R8 LMS was announced in 2008. It was based on the Audi R8 sports car and built to GT3 rules. A 5.2-liter V10 mid-mounted engine producing over 500hp sat in a light weight aluminum space frame. The body sections were modified, and the drivetrain changed from 4WD to rear-wheel drive. From 2009 on, racing teams around the world ran the car and won many races. ADAPTABLE TT-02 CHASSIS: Balanced shaft-driven 4WD. The battery sits on the left and the motor on the right in a longitudinal layout for stability. Identical left and right suspension arms and uprights make assembly easier, and the gearboxes are easy to maintain. The chassis offers two wheelbases, two ground clearance settings, two tread setups and 10 gear ratios. Fits the Tamiya TT-02.
