The Porsche Turbo RSR was built for the revamped Group 4 racing class that began in 1976. Based on the 930 Turbo, it was named the 934 Turbo. Its 2993cc engine makes up to 485hp and 62kg/m of torque. This example was one of the 50 built through May 1977. The Max Moritz team car was sponsored by the German liqueur maker Jagermeister and wears its orange livery. The car was also part of Tamiya's 1/24 sports car line and the 1/12 Big Scale Series in 1976. The model reproduces the flared fenders, large rear wing, roll cage interior and chassis underside. The metal-plated wheels have rubber slick tires. The front bumper and engine hood mesh are photo-etched, and metal transfers handle the mirrors.
