A 16mm 5-hole Fat Boys piston set with 2.2mm thickness. The piston is thicker than standard, so oil is forced through the valving holes rather than around the outside. The 2.2mm version is milled out in the center, which shortens the valving path to 2.2mm. That reduces packing over bumps while the outer height stays tall. The suspension stays settled, and the shock still packs for larger jumps. The result is good bump handling for low-grip surfaces. The pistons are precision CNC routed Delrin, sold as a Pro-Built set of 4 and hand marked with size on the top surface. The rear is beveled for faster rebound. Reduced clearance and extra thickness cut blow-by on landings and reduce suspension flutter. Hot weather (emulsion): Front: 42.5wt AE (550 CST), 4 x 1.4mm and 1 x 1.5mm Rear: 35wt AE (425 CST), 3 x 1.5mm and 2 x 1.7mm (use 37.5 for the middle hole on the third-hole rear arm) Cold weather (below 70F): Front: 40wt AE (500 CST), 4 x 1.4mm and 1 x 1.5mm Rear: 32.5wt AE (388 CST), 3 x 1.5mm and 2 x 1.7mm (use 35 for the middle hole on the third-hole rear arm) Fits electric and nitro Associated RC8B4 and RC8T4, and older versions.
