This front skid plate for the Associated Rival MT8 protects the exposed aluminum chassis. It replaces the stock front skid plate. The RPM version extends farther toward the rear, which covers more of the chassis and guards it from rocks and debris. The rear gearbox screws support the longer plate. The front M3 x 14mm button-head screw is removed, and the shape of the plate is changed for added durability. Three low-friction skid rails help the truck get over tall obstacles without stopping. They also add strength and wear resistance. The plate is molded in black from RPM's engineering grade nylon blend. It is made in the USA and carries a limited lifetime warranty against breakage. Fits the Associated Rival MT8.
