• ABOUT HARD ANODIZING:
• Hard anodizing is an electrochemical process that toughens aluminum. The metal is listed here as 30% harder than stainless steel. It is submerged in an acid bath and then charged electrically, so its surface bonds with oxygen to form aluminum oxide. That is oxidation, a process that happens naturally, carried out in a controlled and accelerated form.
