JConcepts 1/8th Buggy Tire, Dirt Bite, Green Compound, Pre-Mounted on 3357W Wheels

About this part

The Dirt Bite is pre-mounted on JConcepts 3357W wheels in green compound. Its pins are set on a radius, so the tire meets the track differently than conventional designs. The tapered square pins adapt to wet and loamy surfaces as well as blue and black groove. The pins are similar to the Reflex and Triple Dees, but the sturdy base and carcass radius make a new kind of tire. The tire uses the JConcepts continuous radius carcass with inner radial ribbing. The new design helps the car drive through hard corners, and paired with sticky compounds such as the JConcepts green, it gives racers a strong feel. Directional tread lets drivers choose a comfortable setup on a variety of surfaces. Because of the curve of the tire, a racer can run the tread in a leading or following position to lay compound onto the track.
