This 1985 Ford Aerostar is fit for the JConcepts Regulator chassis and the Tamiya Clod Buster, though the Clod Buster needs user-adapted body mounting. The clear, one-piece body keeps the Aerostar's standout features, starting with the low-slope hood and windshield. The high roofline runs the length of the shell and drops just behind the rear wheel wells, leaving room for the rear hatch and window. The side profile is flat, built for hauling the family between events. The sides have recessed windows in five separate panes, with body lines that give a 1980s identity from every direction. Built-in flares on the front and rear wheel wells add rigidity, and the front and rear bumpers are carved into the design. The included decal sheet can be used for a range of license plate designs. The angled front end requires special body mounting considerations.
