The Quicrun Waterproof-1080 G2 adds a real car mode. Direction is switched in real time through an idle transmitter channel. Pull the trigger to go forward, push it to brake, and pull with the reverse channel engaged to reverse. This requires an open channel on the receiver. Four running modes are available: real car, forward with brakes, forward and reverse with brakes, and forward and reverse. Drag brake force can be adjusted on the fly through an open receiver channel, with no programmer needed. The redesign runs the ESC about 15 degrees cooler, and a fan mount is included for extra cooling. The unit is rated IP67 for water and dust resistance in a range of weather and surfaces. The BEC upgrade raises maximum output to 6A.
