Great Planes Pro CA Glue Thin in a 2 oz bottle, new and sealed in its original packaging. This glue is clear and consistent from one bottle to the next, and it is designed to wick deeply into balsa for the strongest possible joint. Every Pro CA viscosity (CA, CA+ and CA-) has been developed to reach the penetration its job needs. Cyanoacrylate, usually called CA, is an acid-stabilized adhesive that sets when moisture touches it. A small amount of water overpowers the acid, so the moisture on the part and in the air bonds the glue within seconds. Natural acids in plywood, spruce and balsa can blend with the stabilizers and slow the cure or prevent it. Pro CA is surface insensitive for that reason and adheres well to every surface, especially balsa. Activator may be used to speed the cure and strengthen the bond.
