Version 2 clamp-on fan mount with a larger double-screw mounting bar, made from aluminum. It keeps 1/8-scale motors from fading or melting in the heat. It is designed for high-power 40mm and 30mm fans, which are not included. The bracket has several mounting positions, so the fan stays secure in tight spaces, even after big jumps. With a few adjustments it works on any 1/8 truggy and most electric buggies. It holds the fan 10-14mm from the motor can. That spacing keeps magnetic interference from cutting the fan's RPM. A fan placed too close can stop spinning at full throttle because the motor's stronger EMF slows or shuts it down. Made for standard 1/8 motors with a 39.5-40.5mm end bell diameter.
