About this part

Factory replacement ball differential spring, a small metal coil spring inside the ball diff assembly. It sets preload on the diff balls, which keeps diff action consistent and lets you adjust how tight the diff feels. A worn or fatigued spring can be replaced to restore diff feel and reduce slipping or binding under power.
