Hot Racing aluminum differential spool and locker for the TRA 8S (front, center and rear) and 6S (front and rear). FITS: X-Maxx, X-Maxx 8S, XRT 8S A spool replaces the open action of a traditional center differential. On a standard center diff, power shifts to the front tires as the vehicle accelerates and the front tires unload, so they can spin and lose torque. The spool sends the most torque to the tires with the most grip, which gives much stronger acceleration than a vehicle with a center differential. The added torque and drivetrain stress make this part suited to off-road use only. It can also be used in the front or rear differential, with the included aluminum cup mount rod.
