The VFD Twin is a newer version of the original VFD. It keeps the same balance of performance, scale appearance, and strength, and adds industry-first features. Patent pending.

Features

• Selectable overdrive: standard at 6.5 percent, high at 33 percent. Shifts on the fly and changes driving characteristics and tuning options right away
• Overdrive neutral position for 2WD, which disengages the front output
• Dig with 3 positions and a slipper clutch
• Twin-shifting transfer case with replaceable bearing plates, a brass shift arm pivot, and chromoly shift slides
• Dig shifting borrows the proven Hurtz dig design and is smooth and reliable
• Sintered internal gears and hardened chromoly shafts
• Full ball bearing transmission
• Sintered shift arms with brass pivot bushing
• Scale molded transmission housing and bearing plates
• Molded VFD Twin extended skid plate for motor protection
• Places the motor forward and as low as possible
• Compatible with 540 brushed and brushless motors.
