The VS4-10 Phoenix Portal is the first platform to pair the VFD Twin transmission (patent pending) with F10 portal axles. The VFD Twin combines selectable overdrive shifting and a three-position dig unit in one compact package. The molded F10 portal axles use a high clearance design that keeps the pumpkin small and leaves room around the C-hub and knuckle. ISD10 driveshafts with machined CV-style joints and molded splined shafts connect the transmission to the axles.
