About this part

Steel helical ring and pinion underdrive, 22T ring with 10T pinion, for the 1/18 TRA TRX-4M. The spiral cut gears are stronger and run smoother than factory straight cut bevel gears, with less vibration, noise and wear. This ratio is a 10% underdrive compared with the stock 24T/12T, which slows wheel speed and is commonly used in the rear for more digging. It works on the front or rear.

Requirements

• Installation following the kit manual
• Medium blue threadlock if screws thread into metal
• Hot Racing SPL10G05 high temp grease is recommended

• Replaces the TRA option part.
• Typical setups: overdrive the front axle and underdrive the rear. Combinations include TRXM9224 front with TRXM9022 rear, TRXM9224 front with TRXM9024 rear, TRXM9222 front with TRXM9224 rear, and TRXM9222 front with TRXM9024 rear.
