The NT48 2.2 is the newest version of Tekno RC's 1/8 scale competition nitro truggy, a 4WD kit. It was developed over more than two years of testing on tracks in the United States and Europe, and it has taken back-to-back ROAR National Championships. This fourth iteration of the NT48 platform, first launched in 2014, incorporates feedback from Tekno team drivers and customers. The goal is a truggy that balances performance, durability and modern design, and stays competitive in the nitro truggy class for years. The truggy uses full 2.2 chassis specifications, including updated hubs, front spindles, carriers and Ackermann plates. These give near-full compatibility with the EB48 2.2 and NB48 2.2 buggies and the ET48 2.2 electric truggy, so parts can move between the platforms.
