About this part

Tekno RC M12 driveshaft for the HPI Baja 5B, 5T and 5SC. This is a true universal driveshaft, designed and tested in Southern California. It is CNC machined from high-grade steel, then hardened and black oxidized for added durability and wear resistance. The unit can be rebuilt, and its major parts are sold separately. One driveshaft is included.

  • Precision machined from high-grade steel, hardened and black oxidized
  • Completely rebuildable with replaceable pins
  • True universal design holds the hub end of the assembly, which keeps the axles from plunging into the differential outdrive and damaging them or the drive pins
  • Smooth power delivery
  • 9mm tapered drive axle for added durability and outdrive clearance

Note

  • We recommend installing a set of differential shafts before use so the drive pins wear properly.

  • If you are installing this in a Baja 5SC, you will need the standard differential shafts (HPI86470).
