This R/C kit recreates the Peugeot 306 Maxi on the BT-01 chassis, which is beginner friendly and easy to customize. Like the full-size car, the BT-01 is set up in the front motor, front drive configuration for realism. The Peugeot 306 Maxi was built from the FF hatchback 306 with components made for rallying. Its 2.0-liter naturally aspirated front engine made 280hp. The car had enlarged fenders, a roof spoiler and a lighter body. It won rally races in France in 1996 and 1997, took the class championship at the 1996 Monte Carlo rally and placed third in the fifth and sixth races of the 1997 global rally circuit. This kit is inspired by those rally champions. THE BT-01 CHASSIS: The 2WD BT-01 chassis offers two wheelbase options and either front- or rear-wheel drive. The battery pack, motor and R/C equipment stay in the center frame. To switch drive direction, change the attachment direction of the final gears and steering linkage.
