A limited edition RC car that recreates the Audi A4 quattro Touring car as it raced in 1997. In the late 1990s, manufacturer-backed teams dominated touring car series worldwide, and Audi was among the strongest. It developed its base A4 quattro into a race winner and recruited top drivers from around the world. The model is built on the beginner friendly TT-01 E chassis. The original release of this Audi used the TA-03 chassis. TT-01 E CHASSIS: A bathtub frame carries the shaft-driven 4WD drivetrain, with the motor and battery placed low for a lower center of gravity. A fiberglass reinforced nylon upper deck and gear covers add rigidity, and a 3-piece tie rod gives smooth steering. The chassis also has 4-wheel double wishbone suspension and front and rear differential gears.
