A 22mm adjustable HD compression spring damper set from Hot Racing for the Axial SCX30 and for heavier custom rock crawler builds. These dampers are oil-filled for real damping action.

Notes

• An emulsion setup means keeping a consistent mix of oil and air inside the shock for smooth damping. Fill with good-quality silicone oil, then loosen the cap to push out the extra oil while the shaft is half compressed. The key is repeatability. Hold the shaft at its midpoint while you tighten the cap, which leaves enough air to make up for the shaft entering the body. The air and oil will mix consistently over
