About this part

Hot Racing aluminum threaded long travel shocks for the Axial SCX24 and other mini or micro crawlers. These shocks are friction damped and need only a partial fill of thick grease, enough to leave a heavy coating.

  • Machined aluminum construction
  • Threaded shock bodies for quick preload adjustment
  • Three spring rates included

You will receive

  • Four (4) shocks
  • Four (4) soft springs (black)
  • Four (4) medium springs (gold)
  • Four (4) firm springs (silver)
  • Eight (8) M1.4x8 cap head screws

Requirements

  • A 0.05in, 1.3mm, or 1.4mm hex wrench for the screws
  • Silicone thick grease. Do not fill the shock fully. Use only enough to leave a heavy coating.

Specifications

  • Extended length, eye to eye: about 42mm
  • Compressed length, eye to eye: about 28mm
  • Stroke: 14mm

Notes

  • Replaces the Axial AXI31612 SCX24 shock set. Mount with the wide flange facing outward to retain the O-rings.
