SkyRC Gyro for RC Drift Cars, GD-401A

About this part

The SkyRC GD-401A is a compact steering gyro built for RC drift cars. Its CNC-machined aluminum body houses a 32-bit processor and a high-precision MEMS gyro sensor, which work together to correct steering quickly and accurately. The package includes the gyro with its cable already attached, so installation is straightforward.

Requirements

• A car with a separate steering servo, a receiver with a PWM signal output of 50333Hz, and a power source in the 4.8V to 7.4V range. At 6V the gyro draws about 20mA.

Notes

• Tuned for rear-wheel-drive drift use, with 9 preset response curves. It also works with touring, rally and short course vehicles. The transmitter and receiver, servo and mounting hardware are sold separately.
